We are very pleased to bring you the latest offering from German duo About Aphrodite and their Membran Music project.
They blend hypnotic melodies and improvisations with gentle atmospheres and cinema soundscapes. Featuring Gilda Razani on theremin and soprano saxophone, and Hans Wanning on piano, synthesiser and live electronics, About Aphrodite take you on a euphoric and energetic sound journey, inspired by the great symphony of the world.
Since 2015, they have composed and produced numerous film scores for the WDR (West German Broadcasting Cologne) and their own albums such as Bazaar (Traumtonrecords, Berlin), Ocean Lily and Faktor X (Aztek Electronic Music in Melbourne, Australia) and they have performed at festivals such as Fusion Festival (Germany), Jazz Province (Russia), and Les Digitales (Switzerland).
